Happy Holidays 2016
As you read last week, we will soon be saying goodbye to Ed Chavarria as he begins the next part of his life’s journey. Though we are sad to see him go, with every end comes a new beginning. We were happy had to have one last get-together with Ed and the rest of the staff at our annual holiday party, hosted by the amazing chefs at Green Basil on South Street. (Definitely get the Massaman curry when you go there.)
Speaking of neighborhood eateries, we recently sent out our annual thank you/holiday baskets to our manufacturers and friends of Infinite. Included in this year’s gift baskets were cookies from our neighbors at Famous 4th Street Deli, staff favorites Goldenbergs Peanut Chews, and assorted chocolate vulva candies and penis candles from Pretty Privates, run by Andru’s amazing partner Haley.
Also this month, we are beyond excited to announce the return of two previous Infinite piercers: first up is Kali Taylor. Kali will be back for a short-but-sweet guest spot from December 22-23, covering for Ed while he flies back home for the holidays. If you’ve missed her since she’s been gone, this is your chance to come say hi! It’s also a great time to get that pre-holiday piercing you’ve been thinking about. (Don’t worry; your family will love it.)
The second returning staff member has been somewhat of a secret, and will be joining us a few weeks later….
If you haven’t noticed, we’ve been conspicuously quiet about what will be happening with the open piercing position after Ed’s last day on December 31. We left a bit of a cliffhanger in our last post, hinting that we’d be releasing some pretty big news in the next few days. I hope you’re ready for it, because here it comes: this spring, John Logger will be returning to Philadelphia and rejoining the Infinite team! After a year away, we are thrilled to be welcoming him back to fill the position of head piercer in Ed’s wake. He’s been sorely missed, so for us this news couldn’t have come at a better time.
John’s official first day back will be March 1, 2017. We’ll be hosting several guests during the weeks between Ed’s last day and John’s first, but we’ll let you know more about that in the coming weeks. For now, make sure to stop in to see Kali during her visit and swing by to wish Ed farewell. And don’t forget to mark your calendars with our special holiday hours below.
