Important: Read Before You Book
We require appointments for most procedures and enforce strict, non-negotiable rules regarding IDs, piercing minors, health restrictions (like pregnancy or swimming), outside jewelry, and specific services that require a call ahead. If you arrive unprepared, we will not be able to help you!
Before booking an appointment, please read the FAQs below and review our ID Info and Policies, Prices for Services and Before Coming In pages to ensure your visit goes smoothly.

FAQs
Do I need an appointment?
For all new piercings, you will need to book an appointment on our website. All other services, including jewelry changes, removals, troubleshooting, check-ups, and downsizes for existing piercings are done on a walk-in basis. For simple shopping, feel free to stop by anytime during our regular open hours. For any services we ask that you get in at least one hour prior to closing (or earlier on weekends) so that we have enough time to help you.
How long will the wait be?
It depends! All walk-in services are taken on a first-come, first-served basis in between our existing appointments. If things are running behind or if we get a sudden rush of walk-ins, we will do our best to let you know when you arrive. Our schedule is set up to accommodate fluctuations throughout the day, so most appointments start right on-time (sometimes we can even get you in a little early), but we ask that you plan for a little flexibility as well. Each and every client gets our full attention when back in the room—including you!—so please be patient with our staff if we are running a little behind.
How long is my appointment?
Appointments are scheduled for 30-minute sessions, which includes time to do paperwork, choose jewelry, have the piercing performed, go over after care, and check out at the register afterwards.
Do I need more than one appointments for multiple services?
Nope! In fact, please do not book more than one appointment per person. While some services (or combination of services) do take longer than others, our appointment schedule is set up in a specific way in order to handle some things running slightly over.
Do my friend and I need separate appointments?
Yes, you will each need to book your own appointment to ensure we have time to help each of you. If you’re hoping to come in together but couldn’t snag two appointments at the same time, as long as you schedule within an hour of each other, you can come in together at the earlier start time (such as one person booking at 12:00 p.m and the other at 12:30 p.m).
I’m running late! What should I do?
If you are going to be more than five minutes late, we may need to cancel your appointment; give us a call and we will do our best to accommodate you. (Parking is limited to street parking at our studio, so be sure to leave yourself enough time.)
How much notice is required to cancel or reschedule?
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled time. In the event of an emergency, please call us to let us know if you will be unable to make it.
How do I request a specific piercer?
Please call ahead to find out their schedule before booking your appointment. We will do our best to accommodate your request at your appointment.
Do I need to call ahead for specific procedures?
You will need to call ahead for certain genital piercings, and less-common piercings such as cheeks. Not all piercers have extensive experience with all genital piercings, as there are a lot of different piercings and variations. If you're booking for a vertical hood piercing (VCH), no need to reach out—all of our piercers perform these piercings. For other genital piercings, give us a call before booking and make sure we can accommodate you on the date available.
Can I use my own jewelry?
The short answer: probably not. Jewelry must not only be the appropriate style and size for your particular anatomy and piercing placement, but it also must meet certain material and quality requirements set by the Philadelphia Health Department. In the rare case that we are able to use jewelry previously purchased from us (or another reputable studio) the jewelry must be dropped off on the day of your appointment at least 1 hour beforehand so it can be reprocessed. There are so many factors at play with this question, from health and safety concerns to general sizing, that we recommend you call first so we can advise you based on your particular situation.
Is there anything else I should know?
Before booking your appointment, please visit our Before Coming In page to see what to expect when you come in. Prices for services can be found on our Prices page, and make sure you are able to bring in proper identification as outlined in ID Info and Policies.
