Getting Here

Directions

Infinite is located at 626 South 4th Street, less than a block south of South Street. We’re just a few shops north of the corner of 4th and Bainbridge Street, in the historic Fabric Row section of the South Street Headhouse District. Below are some suggestions for getting here, and while you may find these helpful, if you need something more detailed it’s best to first get directions from Google Maps.

If you are coming to the South Street area for the first time, leave yourself extra time to eat, shop, and explore. We are surrounded by shopping: from sneakers, vintage clothing, used records and books to smoking supplies and vape shops. We are also in the middle of numerous eateries, with everything from cheesesteaks to fine dining within walking distance. Our neighborhood also has the most body art studios in one area in Philadelphia, with nine tattoo (and a few piercing) studios near us—with six studios on our block alone!

Parking

South Street is a great place for walking around, but be aware; if you’re thinking of driving here, parking can be difficult. Infinite does not have its own, dedicated parking. Paid street parking is (sometimes) available, but during nights and weekends it can be difficult to find a spot. If you are driving, make sure you leave yourself extra time to find a place to park. There are several parking lots close to the shop, but if you can leave your car at home, public transportation is often an easier option.

Public Transportation

From New Jersey:

If you’re close to any of the PATCO Speedline stops, it’s a quick trip into Philadelphia. Get off at the 8th and Market stop, and then it’s about a 20-minute walk to us. The main exit takes you to the street at 8th and Market, so when you get topside, head to 4th and Market, and then make a right on 4th. You go about ten blocks and we’re on your right, at 4th and Bainbridge. If you don’t feel like walking the whole way, you can take the #47 bus down 8th Street to South Street (and then walk to 4th), or walk to 4th and Market Street and take the #57 bus, which lets you off right in front of our door.

If you are not near one of the South Jersey PATCO Speedline stops, check out NJ Transit’s trip planner for additional routes.

From Northeast Philadelphia:

If you’re close to the Market-Frankford Line, take it toward 69th Street and get off at 5th and Market. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to us. (You want to head south, either against the direction of traffic on 5th Street or with traffic on 4th Street.) If you don’t feel like walking the whole way, you can head to 4th and Market Street and catch the #57 bus, (toward Whitman Plaza), which lets you off right in front of our door.

If you are not near the Market-Frankford Line, you are probably located near one of many regional rail stations or along one of SEPTA’s bus routes—both of which allow you easy access to Center City Philadelphia. For more information about your trip, use SEPTA’s trip planner.

From North Philadelphia:

From the Temple Campus (or anywhere near Broad Street), hop on the Broad Street Line and get off at the Lombard-South stop. From there, you can walk down South Street to 4th Street, or you can take the #40 bus (toward 2nd and Lombard) to the corner of 4th and South Streets.

If you’re starting east of Broad, you can also take the #57 bus and hop off at 4th and Bainbridge—right in front of our door.

From West Philadelphia:

If you’re coming from University City, the easiest way to get to us is by taking the #40 bus toward 2nd and Lombard. Get off at 4th and South Street (right in front of Jim’s Steaks), and make a right on 4th Street. We’re on your right, just after the post office.

You can also take the Market-Frankford Line (toward Frankford), get off at the 5th Street Station. From there, it’s about a 20-minute walk to us. (You want to head south, either against the direction of traffic on 5th Street or with traffic on 4th Street.) If you don’t feel like walking the whole way, you can head to 4th and Market Street and catch the #57 bus going South (toward Whitman Plaza), which lets you off right in front of our door.

Driving Directions

From North or South:

Take I-95 (North or South) to the Columbus Boulevard exit. At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left onto Columbus Boulevard, then take the next left onto Washington Avenue. Off of Washington, turn right on 5th Street and travel north for several blocks, making a right on Bainbridge Street. We’re north of the next intersection—so park where you find space.

From New Jersey:

From the Ben Franklin Bridge, stay in the right lane on the bridge and take a hard right as the bridge ends. Keep to the right at the next fork, turn right again at the intersection, and then bear left down the cobblestone street. At the next intersection, make a right onto 4th Street. Keep going on 4th (crossing over Market Street) until you hit South Street. After South Street we’re at the next intersection, on your right.

From the Walt Whitman Bridge: After crossing the bridge, get onto I-95 North and get off at the Columbus Boulevard exit. At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left onto Columbus Boulevard, then take the next left onto Washington Avenue. Turn right on 5th Street and travel north for several blocks, making a right on Bainbridge.

From West of Philadelphia:

Take I-76 to I-676 across town, and get off at 6th Street and head south. Make a left at either South Street or Bainbridge and continue until you get to 4th Street. (We are located on 4th, near the corner of 4th and Bainbridge.)

Or, take I-95 North (and East) to the Columbus Boulevard exit. At the bottom of the off-ramp, turn left onto Columbus Boulevard, then take the next left onto Washington Avenue. Turn right on 5th Street and travel north for several blocks, making a right on Bainbridge.
