Max Koestler
Jewelry Specialist
Max grew up in New Jersey, only moving to Baltimore after graduating college with a history degree. Growing up, he saw body modification as an exciting way to play with his gender expression by seeing how he could use different jewelry and stylings to influence public perception of his own identity. As a dancer from a conservative studio with parents who still hold a strong bias against any sort of body mods, Max was mostly limited to what he could hide: temporarily dyed hair and at-home ear stretching. He’s very proud of having hid his pierced tongue from his parents for over a year after getting it pierced.
Max loves to learn new things and is stoked to now be a part of the Infinite team. He hopes to learn as much as he can not only from the amazing staff here, but from the wonderful people who come through the shop each day. In his free time, Max loves to study tarot, go ghost hunting, and watch anime with his cats. He’s most excited to start taking his kitten Thackery Binx on walks—once Binx stops escaping his harness.
